Congratulations!
Your quit smoking journey begins now.

You’ve just taken a step toward the most important thing you’ll ever do for your health. Everyone’s journey is different. Only you understand why you started smoking, how it’s been part of your life, and your personal reasons to now end the relationship. We’re so glad you’re here.

STEP ONE

Get the book.

Get strategies and support to quit smoking. The work you’re embarking on is shared by the 24 people interviewed for Learning To Quit and the millions around the world that are actively leaving cigarettes and nicotine addiction behind.

STEP TWO

Get help.

Visit our resources page to discover quit smoking tools and communities. This is where you’ll find quit plan templates, smoking cessation workbooks, nicotine dependency evaluations, support group referals and more.

STEP THREE

Share with a friend.

Many smokers can become isolated in their behaviors over time, and we want you to know that you are not alone. Reach out to others who have decided to stop smoking. Working together, you’re much more likely to achieve your goals.

The UCSF Fontana Tobacco Treatment Center offers classes as well as individual consultations with health care professionals trained in treating tobacco addiction. We help smokers maximize the likelihood of quitting for good.
